The 9th Annual Costa Rica Cup will return October 2009 at the Marriot Hotel in San Jose

Costa Rica Cup is joining forces with Costa Rica Singles Network to plan parties, speed dating, and introduce single soccer players to Costa Rica women. Don't miss it if you would like to meet the girls of Costa Rica.

 

Costa Rica Cup is an International 6 v 6 futbol tournament that is played on natural grass fields located in the Pacific Coast town of Jaco Beach. The tournament will bring 6 aside soccer clubs from around the world to Costa Rica to compete in a World Cup Style Format over the 3 day period. Soccer teams will be placed in groups for Day 1 & 2 then the Top Teams will advance to single elimination play on the final day of the tournament. The Jaco Beach Hotel will host soccer players, guests, and families for Costa Rica Cup. The hotel is located beachfront and is directly across the street from the soccer fields. The hotel will offer an all-inclusive package to players and their guests for the tournmament.

Welcome Fire and Police Department Teams!

Costa Rica Cup extends a Friendly Welcome to Police and Fire teams from around the world who wish to participate in our tournament. In the 2006 tournament, we had teams from Ottawa, New York, and San Antonio who played in the Over 35 Division against international teams from Texas and London.

 

A special thank you goes out to the Toronto Police Department who made a HUGE contribution to Hogar de Vida Orphanage and conducted a "Kick" Anti-Drug Soccer clinic for the children of Jaco Beach during the 2007 Costa Rica Cup.

Fox Sports Soccer Channel

Fox Sports Soccer Channel covered the action of Costa Rica Cup during the period April 25-30, 2006 in the capital city of San Jose. The Fox Staff were taping a segment on Costa Rica Cup to be included in their primetime show called FC Fox which is hosted by Ethan Zohn. The FC Fox crew and soccer players took Eco-Tours to see crocodiles, took zip lines thru the jungle at the Waterfall Canopy Tours and visited Hogar De Vida Orphanage. Great fun was had by all! All of the action was recorded for the show.
